Italy with Roberto

Let’s plan your kind of Italy.

A few days by the lake. An afternoon exploring food markets. A trip with as much thought given to lunch as to the next destination.

Born and raised in Milan, Roberto brings an Italian’s perspective to the food, places and practical decisions that shape your trip.

You may already know where you want to go. Or you may simply know how you want the trip to feel.

Start with a conversation with Roberto. Together, you’ll shape an itinerary around your interests, your pace, and the things you would love to experience.

Starting points

A few places to begin.

Not a checklist. Just a taste of the different experiences a trip to Italy can hold.

  1. 01

    BreraMilan

Art, neighborhood cafés, and an aperitivo after an afternoon on foot. A city stop with time to wander between plans.

  2. 02

    VarennaLake Como

Colorful houses, narrow lanes, and walks beside the water. Somewhere to leave an afternoon open.

  3. 03

    The QuadrilateroBologna

Historic food shops, fresh pasta, and market streets to explore with an appetite. Let what catches your eye help shape the day.

  4. 04

    ParmaEmilia-Romagna

Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, and the food traditions behind them. A natural starting point for a trip built around the table.

  5. 05

    The LanghePiedmont

Hilltop villages, vineyard landscapes, and regional cooking. A different pace from the city, with plenty worth stopping for.

These are starting points, not a fixed route. Your itinerary will depend on the season, the time you have, and what interests you most.

How it works

Your trip starts with a conversation.

There is no single way to experience Italy. You might want art and lively city streets, smaller towns and countryside, or a little of each. You might enjoy a full day of exploring, or prefer one good plan and an afternoon left open.

The starting point is you.

  1. 01

Tell Roberto what you have in mind

Share your dates, your budget, who you’re traveling with, and what you enjoy. Food, art, landscapes, local markets, time by the water. Bring the ideas you already have, along with the questions you haven’t answered.

  2. 02

Find a route that makes sense

Work through where to go, how long to stay, and what deserves a place in the trip. The aim is not to fit in as much as possible. It is to choose well, with enough time to enjoy each stop.

  3. 03

Take a personal plan with you

Receive a written, day-by-day itinerary with suggested places to explore, restaurant ideas, food experiences, and practical notes. A clear starting point for your trip, with room for discoveries along the way.
